Oh, hello there. Thought I had forgotten about you, didn’t you? Well, I didn’t. It’s just been a crazy month in the Om Nom household. Two weeks ago, Shakespeare decided that this crawling stuff is for babies, and now that he’s a year old he is a toddler, not a baby. Since then he has been a walking fiend. I can’t keep up. And about a month ago, right around the time I disappeared from the blogosphere, I decided that since the Goddess was going to be five next December, I should probably implement a schedule of some sort and try teaching her some stuff. Get her ready for kindergarten in a year and a half. It’s going decently. Some days are good and some days are bad, just like with any four year old. She can be lovey dovey one minute and the next wants nothing to do with me, and dear lord, you had better not be trying to teach me how to spell my name! Since we last spoke, I have been trying to find a balance between teaching and guiding her, and mothering and chasing after him. So not easy. Especially on top of all my other household duties. Something had to give, so back to the old dinner staples I went… until tonight. I have finally found a process that works for me, my house isn’t in shambles, and my kids are happy (most of the time). Because of that, I was able to take time for me and find a new meal to try out. So, without further ado, I give you Crock Pot Ranch Pork Chops from www.raininghotcoupons.com.
